The Standard Hotel: Good for Hounds and Booze Hounds

This week, the Poop Collectors had some young visitors to impress, so they took me to The Standard Hotel. Tucked away in the backstreets of Fitzroy, it’s a sniff-tacular adventure. Pub grub scents everywhere—schnitzels, steak, and maybe a rogue chip. The sprawling beer garden is perfect for sunbaking, snoozing and lots of pats. It’s been serving up good times since 1865, so it’s a hundred years older than my daddy! If you’re a hound or a booze hound, this place is for you. Balls, Sniffs & Zoomies: Princes Park Has It All

Paws down, this park is a tail-wagging paradise! So many sniffs. The grass is perfect for zoomies, and there are balls everywhere! Humans playing football, tennis, cricket—you name it. I tried to join in, but apparently, not all balls are for dogs (rude). Luckily, the Poop Collectors brought my favourite, so I still got my fix. Made lots of new friends. Only downside? Puppachino Paradise at the Doghouse Cafe

This place is barktastic! They have a special doggie area out the back with plenty of toys and even a paddling pool and some enclosed areas for VIPups. It is like a dream come true! They have a special doggie menu, so we had a round of Puppachinos. The Poop Collectors seemed to enjoy their coffee too. There was a doggie meet up happening when we were there, so the place was full of Westies. They were pretty cheeky. Cuddles With Croissants at Gabriel

I often meet my bae Herbie here. We like the parklet because we can have a cuddle while the Poop Collectors enjoy their breakfast. We get lots of cuddles from the friendly staff too. Le Bon Ton Knows How to Treat its VIPups

This New Orleans-inspired restaurant and absinthe bar has been the scene of many good times. The Poop Collectors stopped for a drink when they were walking me home from doggie daycare. It was a hot day, but I got a treat and my very own water bowl from the friendly staff. Then I had a snooze on a sandbag. Good times indeed. Margaritas, Mischief and a Mexican Fiesta

The mood was upbeat at the 8th birthday party of Hecho en Mexico. The Poop Collectors can’t resist a good margarita, so they settled in for the afternoon while I got to play with my boyf Herbie under the table. They had no idea what was going on. Ay caramba!
