Plug Nickel is a Hidden Gem for Dogs and their Humans

A coffee shop by day and cocktail bar by night, this little nugget is tucked away opposite Peel Street Park. It was the first place I visited after I arrived in Melbourne from Queensland as a tiny puppy. I don’t know much about coffee or hipsters, but there are always lots of other doggies around, so this place gets the paws up from me. Mario’s Cafe: A True Melbourne Classic

Mario’s Cafe: A True Melbourne Classic

Established in 1986, this Melbourne institution is a favourite with the Poop Collectors. I have been coming here since I was 12 weeks’ old. The staff treat me like Fitzroyalty and I’ve met some interesting characters. I like the friendly Indian who lives there. I’m not so sure about the gruff Italian waiter, but I think his bark is worse than his bite. Reviewed by Yoshi Mario’s Cafe, 303 Brunswick Street, Fitzroy 3065 | Website Woof rating: 🦴🦴🦴🦴🦴
