Mario’s Cafe: A True Melbourne Classic

Established in 1986, this Melbourne institution is a favourite with the Poop Collectors. I have been coming here since I was 12 weeks’ old. The staff treat me like Fitzroyalty and I’ve met some interesting characters. I like the friendly Indian who lives there. I’m not so sure about the gruff Italian waiter, but I think his bark is worse than his bite.
