The Standard Hotel: Good for Hounds and Booze Hounds

This week, the Poop Collectors had some young visitors to impress, so they took me to The Standard Hotel. Tucked away in the backstreets of Fitzroy, it’s a sniff-tacular adventure. Pub grub scents everywhere—schnitzels, steak, and maybe a rogue chip. The sprawling beer garden is perfect for sunbaking, snoozing and lots of pats. It’s been serving up good times since 1865, so it’s a hundred years older than my daddy! If you’re a hound or a booze hound, this place is for you.
